Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy explains your right to cancel a course purchase, in line with the UK Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

1. Your 14-day right to cancel

When you buy a course from Alpha Hygiene Centre online, you are normally entitled to cancel your order within 14 days of purchase, without giving a reason, and receive a full refund.

2. Digital content — when this right is affected

Our courses are supplied as digital content — you get instant access to the course material as soon as your payment is confirmed. Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, once you give your express consent to start accessing digital content immediately, and you acknowledge that doing so means you lose your right to cancel, your 14-day cancellation right ends as soon as you begin accessing the course.

This is why, at checkout, we ask you to confirm:

"I agree to immediate access to digital course content and understand that I will lose my 14-day right to cancel once I start accessing the course content."

In practice, this means:

For our records, we log the date and time you ticked this consent checkbox and the date and time you first opened the course, so we can check either of these if there is ever a dispute about a refund request.

3. If a refund is approved

If a refund is approved, your access to that course will be removed and no certificate will be issued for it. If you have already been issued a certificate for a course, that course is not eligible for a refund, as explained in Section 5 below.

4. Team or bulk purchases

For team or bulk purchases covering multiple learners, refund eligibility is assessed per unused learner licence. If a learner has already started the course or received a certificate, that individual learner licence is not normally refundable, even if other licences in the same order remain unused.

5. Duplicate or accidental payments

If you are charged twice by mistake, or make an accidental duplicate purchase for the same course, contact us and we will review it. Duplicate payments are refunded where no additional course access has been used under the duplicate order.

6. Exceptional circumstances

If you experience a genuine technical problem that prevented you from accessing or completing your course, or you believe you were charged in error, please contact us at info@alphahygienecentre.co.uk within 14 days of your purchase. We consider every request individually and will always act fairly.

7. How to request a refund

Email info@alphahygienecentre.co.uk with the details below. We aim to respond within 2 business days. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.

8. Certificates already issued

If a certificate has already been issued to you for a course, we are unable to offer a refund for that course, as the service (assessment and certification) has been fully delivered.

9. Your statutory rights
